Honestly, one small job on its own is rarely worth a visit for either of us. Most of the cost of a small repair is getting there. If you have three or four things on the list it is one visit and the price per job drops a long way, so it is worth walking the house before you call.
Nothing. Quotes are free and in writing, and they are valid for 30 days. Nothing is due on labour before the job is finished, any materials deposit is shown on the quote itself, and you can cancel at no cost before materials are ordered.

Yes, $5 million public liability, and we hold a White Card and formwork licensing. A certificate of currency can be sent before we start on any job, and commercial sites usually want one.
No, and that is rather the point. Maintenance, repairs and small builds are the whole business, which is exactly the size of job a builder does not want and a homeowner cannot get anyone out for. Electrical, plumbing and gasfitting always need their own licensed trades, and if your job needs one we will tell you rather than take it on. We refer waterproofing out too. In NSW, trade work above $5,000 needs a licence, a limit hipages verifies on our profile, and we stay inside it.
5 years on new work and 3 years on repairs, both covering our own workmanship. Materials carry their own manufacturer warranties. All of that sits on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. The detail is on our warranty page.
We give a real quote in writing, usually from photos. A number over the phone before anyone has seen the job is a guess, and a guess is what turns into an argument at the end.
7am to 5pm. Commercial cleaning and work in occupied premises is often done outside those hours by arrangement.
Most jobs can be priced from two or three photos, so you do not have to wait around for someone to come and look at a door.
